Women’s Health Foundation (WHF) is a not-for-profit, Non-Government Organization, indigenous and social development organization that strives to advocate for better health for Girls and Women in marginalized and underserved communities.
Our services are directed towards improving the health of menopausal women, young mothers, adolescent girls, single mothers, elderly women as well as men to thrive within their communities.
WHF is registered with a purpose of improving the livelihoods of marginalized girls and women within their communities through transforming their lives and stimulating holistic development.
We are dedicated to empowering, inspiring, training, dialoging as well as promoting good health and creating awareness through sexual health and HIV/AIDS education to empower the girl child in schools; antenatal & post-natal health care for adolescent pregnant girls; and Menopausal challenges to women thereby increasing women’s productivity.
We believe that extending our services to unprivileged girls and women on sexual reproductive health and rights, postpartum issues, menopausal challenges, cervical and breast cancer awareness as well as treatment and rehabilitation services; will enhance our mandate in the service of girls and women in Uganda.
We value male involvement and advocacy to participate in attaining our goal of celebrating a healthy woman.
