Postpartum Project (PPP) was launched in August 2016 with an aim to support mothers who experience postnatal
problems such as depression, obesity, nutrition, low back pain, post cesarean section(C/S) pain, abdominal muscle
weakness, weak pelvic floor muscles, incontinence, urgency to urine, prolapsed uterus, cervix and many other birth
related problems.. PPP believes that the majority of these complications can be eliminated through preventive maternal health care services such as post-partum care which will involve post natal physiotherapy, nutrition, relaxation techniques, health education to both the mother, care takers, and husbands or brothers.
Women’s Health Foundation is partnering with Local health center 3s in different districts to reach and support mothers during the time of immunization of their babies.
